Short answer: Choose Martal Group if you want fractional sales executives working email, LinkedIn and calls, and can commit to a three- or four-month pilot. Its own calculator prices its smallest team at $96,000 in year one, about $8,000 a month, for up to 10 qualified leads a month. Choose ROI Maximizer if you want cold email only, no minimum term, and to pay $200–$500 only for qualified meetings that took place, after a $1,000–$3,000 setup.

How this page was made. Written by Moe Alhosni, who runs ROI Maximizer, so I am one side of this comparison. Martal Group figures come from Martal Group's own pages, linked, and were re-checked on 2 November 2026. Where a figure is a third-party estimate or my own arithmetic, it says so. Where Martal Group is the better pick, I say so.

This page is the head-to-head choice. For Martal's price in full, see Martal Group pricing; for other options, Martal Group alternatives; and for two similar firms side by side, CIENCE vs Martal Group and Belkins vs Martal Group.

What the money buys in each case

Martal sells people: fractional sales executives, a research manager and a sales operations manager, working several channels, on a pilot and then a monthly subscription. Some tiers add a commission on sales. That suits a company that wants an outsourced sales team, not just first meetings.

We sell held meetings from cold email. A one-off setup, then a fee only for meetings that took place and that you approved against a written definition. Nothing for a no-show.

Martal's calculator talks about "qualified leads". We charge for meetings that took place. Those are different units, so ask Martal how many of its qualified leads become held meetings.

The cost at different results

My arithmetic on Martal's own year-one figure, spread as $8,000 a month, against our per-meeting range, ignoring setup:

Qualified meetings that took place in a monthMartal Group, two fractional repsROI Maximizer at $200ROI Maximizer at $500
0$8,000$0$0
3$8,000$600$1,500
6$8,000$1,200$3,000
10$8,000$2,000$5,000
15$8,000$3,000$7,500

At the top of our range, Martal's two-rep team is cheaper per meeting from 16 qualified meetings a month; at the bottom, from 40. Martal's calculator caps that team at 10 qualified leads a month.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Martal Group cost?

Its pricing page shows no figure. Its ROI calculator prices two fractional reps for up to 10 qualified leads a month at $96,000 in year one, checked on 2 November 2026. Third-party estimates differ; see Martal Group pricing.

Does Martal Group have a minimum term?

Its pricing page lists a three-month pilot for one tier and a four-month pilot for the others, then a monthly subscription. We have no minimum term.

Does Martal charge per meeting?

No. It charges a flat monthly fee, plus a sales commission on some tiers. We charge $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, or $5,000 a month flat.

Is a qualified lead the same as a held meeting?

Not necessarily. Ask any agency to define its unit in writing and to say whether a booked meeting that does not happen counts.

Before you sign with anyone

Get three things in writing before you pay Martal Group, us or anyone else.

  1. The qualification definition. Role, company size, a need they voiced, and "held, not booked". Ours is in what counts as a qualified meeting.
  2. What a month with no meetings costs. On a retainer or SDR fee, the full fee. On pay per meeting, nothing beyond setup.
  3. The term and the notice period. In the contract, not on a call.
