Short answer: Choose Callbox if you want a phone-led, multi-channel pod (one dedicated SDR on phone, email, LinkedIn and web retargeting) at an estimated $6,667 a month, whatever the results. Choose ROI Maximizer if you want cold email only, no minimum term, and to pay $200–$500 only for qualified meetings that took place, after a $1,000–$3,000 setup.

How this page was made. Written by Moe Alhosni, who runs ROI Maximizer, so I am one side of this comparison. Callbox figures come from Callbox's own pages, linked, and were re-checked on 2 November 2026. Where a figure is a third-party estimate or my own arithmetic, it says so. Where Callbox is the better pick, I say so.

This page is the general head-to-head. If you sell to banks or finance teams, read Callbox vs ROI Maximizer for financial services instead. For Callbox's price in full, see Callbox pricing; for other options, Callbox alternatives.

What the money buys in each case

A Callbox pod is a dedicated SDR with a campaign manager and Callbox's own platform, running a multi-channel cadence. You pay for the pod each month. Its FAQ is clear that the cost is "not based on performance outcomes".

We sell held meetings from cold email. A one-off setup, then a fee only for meetings that took place and that you approved. A month with no meetings costs nothing beyond setup.

The cost at different results

My arithmetic on Callbox's published estimate for one pod against our per-meeting range, ignoring our setup:

Qualified meetings that took place in a monthCallbox, one podROI Maximizer at $200ROI Maximizer at $500
0$6,667$0$0
3$6,667$600$1,500
6$6,667$1,200$3,000
10$6,667$2,000$5,000
15$6,667$3,000$7,500

At the top of our range, one pod is cheaper per meeting from 14 qualified meetings a month; at the bottom, from 34. Our flat $5,000 a month option caps the cost if volumes run high.

Before you sign with anyone

Get three things in writing before you pay Callbox, us or anyone else.

  1. The qualification definition. Role, company size, a need they voiced, and "held, not booked". Ours is in what counts as a qualified meeting.
  2. What a month with no meetings costs. On a retainer or SDR fee, the full fee. On pay per meeting, nothing beyond setup.
  3. The term and the notice period. In the contract, not on a call.
