Home › Blog › Cleverly alternatives (October 2026): when LinkedIn replies are not enough
Cleverly charges $397–$997 a month for LinkedIn lead gen and $697–$2,997 for appointment setting. Seven alternatives with prices from their own pages.

Short answer: Cleverly's own pages price LinkedIn lead generation at "$397/mo to $997/mo" and appointment setting at "$697–$2,997/month", with no "pure pay-per-appointment pricing" (as of October 2026). Alternatives fall into three groups: cheap managed outreach (Modern Inbound, Sopro), full SDR programmes with printed prices (CIENCE, SalesRoads, Abstrakt), and per-meeting models (FunnL, us). Which fits depends on who books the meeting.
How this page was made. Written by Moe Alhosni, who runs ROI Maximizer, a pay-per-meeting agency on this list. Every price comes from the firm's own page, read on 30 October 2026 and linked. Where a firm publishes no price, I say so. The firms are grouped by need, not ranked.
Per its FAQ, lead generation runs "$397/mo to $997/mo, depending on your campaign needs", with discounts for teams of three or more. Its appointment-setting page gives "$697–$2,997/month" across LinkedIn, email and calling, and says "We don't offer pure pay-per-appointment pricing." Its cold email page is "Month-to-month, no contracts".
The FAQ says "most clients typically see 20-40 new leads per month" and "we can't guarantee a specific number". A ZoomInfo review of June 2026 says Cleverly's terms of service set a 90-day minimum for LinkedIn services; Cleverly's own pages I read do not state it. More in Cleverly pricing.
People look for Cleverly alternatives when LinkedIn replies do not turn into meetings, when their buyers are not on LinkedIn, or when they want meetings booked for them.
| Firm | How it charges, from its own page (as of October 2026) | Minimum term | Who books the meeting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cleverly | $397–$997 a month lead gen; $697–$2,997 a month appointment setting | Cold email month to month; LinkedIn 90 days per a third-party review | You, on lead gen; Cleverly, on appointment setting |
| Modern Inbound | $599 or $899 + GST a month, plus $99 a month mailboxes, $150 a year domains | 3 months, billed quarterly in advance | You |
| Sopro | "starts at around €3.4K per month" | "no minimum contract" | You: "Sales enquiries go directly to your team" |
| CIENCE | $2,000 team + $499 platform + SDRs from $1,750 a month | "Month to month, no long contract" | CIENCE's SDRs |
| SalesRoads | $11,950 per 4 weeks for one SDR | "Cancel anytime" | SalesRoads' SDRs |
| Abstrakt Marketing Group | Outbound BDR "starting at $5,000 per month" | Not stated | Abstrakt's BDRs |
| FunnL | "$2000 monthly retainer" + "$300 per completed sales meeting" | Not stated | FunnL |
| ROI Maximizer | Setup $1,000–$3,000, then $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, or a flat $5,000 a month | No minimum term | Us |
Modern Inbound sells cold email that produces warm replies, at $599 (Segmented) or $899 (Personalized) plus GST a month, plus mailboxes and domains, billed quarterly in advance. "The first 14 days are free", and the page is blunt: "No guarantees. No refunds." It is email where Cleverly started on LinkedIn.
Sopro runs email, LinkedIn, display ads and gifting from "around €3.4K per month", with "no minimum contract". It is several times Cleverly's entry price for much broader coverage. See Sopro pricing.
CIENCE prints a month-to-month rate card: $2,000 team, $499 platform, SDRs from $1,750 offshore or $3,500 in the US and Europe, plus a held-meeting bonus. See CIENCE pricing.
SalesRoads puts a US SDR on phone and email for $11,950 per four weeks, "Cancel anytime".
Abstrakt Marketing Group runs phone, email, LinkedIn and direct mail from "starting at $5,000 per month". See Abstrakt Marketing Group pricing.
All three cost more than Cleverly's top appointment-setting price, and all three book the meeting.
Cleverly does not offer pure pay per appointment. FunnL charges a $2,000 retainer plus $300 per completed meeting, without defining qualified. Belkins offers pay per appointment "starting from $750/meeting", per its own blog.
The biggest difference between Cleverly's lead-generation plans and most alternatives is where the work stops. A reply is someone saying "tell me more". A booked meeting is a time in your calendar. A held meeting is a call that happened with the right person. Each step loses some prospects, and someone has to do the work in between. On a reply service, that someone is you. Before you compare prices, decide which of the three you are buying, then compare each firm's price for that step only. A cheap reply can cost more per held meeting than an expensive booking.
We charge per meeting. A one-off setup fee of $1,000–$3,000, then $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, nothing for a no-show. Or a flat $5,000 a month. No minimum term.
That costs more than Cleverly to start. What it buys is a held meeting, not a reply. Our published proof: PR Noir, 27 leads that became 10 qualified meetings and a $90K deal in 45 days, and P1 Communications, 20+ qualified meetings.
If you are deciding between replies and meetings, book 30 minutes or email moe@roimaxi.com.
On printed prices, Modern Inbound's Segmented plan is $599 plus GST a month for warm email replies, plus mailboxes and domains, billed quarterly in advance. That is above Cleverly's $397 entry but in the same range as its lower plans. Most SDR programmes cost more.
Not purely. Its appointment-setting page says "We don't offer pure pay-per-appointment pricing." Its cold email page lists a "Pay per lead" plan without a published fee.
Sopro says "no minimum contract", CIENCE "Month to month, no long contract" and SalesRoads "Cancel anytime", per their own pages. Cleverly's cold email is month to month too. We have no minimum term.
CIENCE, SalesRoads, Abstrakt, FunnL and we book meetings. Modern Inbound and Sopro hand replies to your team, as Cleverly's lead-generation plans do.
For a small budget and a buyer active on LinkedIn, it can be, as long as someone works every reply. If your problem is turning replies into meetings, a service that books them will serve you better.
Get three things in writing, from Cleverly, from us, or from anyone else:
A qualified meeting is defined at what counts as a qualified meeting. Use the cost per meeting calculator to find the most a meeting is worth to you.
