CIENCE alternatives (October 2026): what else to buy instead of team-plus-seat pricing

CIENCE costs at least $4,249 a month with one offshore SDR, before setup. Seven alternatives with prices from their own pages, grouped by how they charge.

Short answer: CIENCE's pricing page lists a $2,000 a month campaign team, a $499 platform and SDRs from $1,750 offshore or $3,500 in the US and Europe, "Month to month, no long contract" (as of October 2026). So the floor is $4,249 a month before an unpriced setup fee. Alternatives either drop the fixed layer (per-meeting firms), give you a US rep at a single price (SalesRoads, EBQ), or bundle everything into one fee (SalesHive, Callbox).

How this page was made. Written by Moe Alhosni, who runs ROI Maximizer, a pay-per-meeting agency on this list. Every price comes from the firm's own page, read on 30 October 2026 and linked. Where a firm publishes no price, I say so. The firms are grouped by model, not ranked.

What CIENCE charges

CIENCE is unusually open about its rate card:

CIENCE's own worked example, five offshore SDRs, comes to $11,249 a month plus bonus. With one offshore SDR, the floor is $4,249 a month; with one US SDR, $5,999, my arithmetic. The full breakdown is in CIENCE pricing.

The reasons buyers look elsewhere are usually the fixed $2,499 layer you pay before any SDR, the unpriced setup, or wanting the whole bill to move with meetings.

If you want one all-in fee: SalesHive

SalesHive's pricing page quotes "One monthly fee" covering the SDR, a strategist, the platform and "Verified list building and data enrichment", with "No setup fees". There is no published figure, and it says "No per-meeting pricing". Notice is written, ending billing "at the end of the next billing month". Compared directly in SalesHive vs CIENCE.

If you want a US rep at a printed price: SalesRoads or EBQ

SalesRoads charges $11,950 per four weeks for one US SDR on phone and email, $16,750 for two, with "No long-term commitment. Cancel anytime." It includes "500 records per SDR per month" of prospect data and a strategist. See SalesRoads pricing.

EBQ charges $5,000 a month for a half-time and $10,000 for a full-time rep, priced on an annual commitment and "paid monthly". That is cheaper per month than a CIENCE US SDR plus team, but locks you in for a year. See EBQ pricing.

If you sell tech and want a pilot: Martal Group

Martal's pricing page shows a "3 Month Pilot Campaign" for lead generation, then monthly, at a "flat fee per month" it does not publish. Higher tiers add sales and onboarding for a fee plus commission. CIENCE vs Martal Group compares the two.

If you want a retainer with a meeting fee: Belkins or FunnL

Belkins starts "From $5,000/month" on six months, or offers a pay-per-appointment plan "starting from $750/meeting". FunnL charges a $2,000 retainer plus $300 per completed meeting, without defining a qualified meeting. Both still carry a fixed element.

ROI Maximizer

We charge per meeting with no retainer on the per-meeting plan. A one-off setup fee of $1,000–$3,000, then $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, nothing for a no-show. Or a flat $5,000 a month. No minimum term.

The contrast with CIENCE is the fixed layer. CIENCE bills $2,499 before an SDR picks up the phone; our per-meeting plan bills nothing after setup until a qualified meeting has taken place. Our published proof: PR Noir, 27 leads that became 10 qualified meetings and a $90K deal in 45 days, and P1 Communications, 20+ qualified meetings.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest alternative to CIENCE?

On published prices, FunnL starts at a $2,000 retainer plus $300 per completed meeting. On our per-meeting plan, after a one-off $1,000–$3,000 setup, you pay $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place and nothing in an empty month. CIENCE's own floor is $4,249 a month with one offshore SDR.

Is CIENCE month to month?

Yes. CIENCE's pricing page says "Month to month, no long contract" and lets you "Add or remove SDRs month to month", as of October 2026.

Does CIENCE charge a setup fee?

Yes. The pricing page lists "One setup fee" without a dollar amount. Ask for it in writing.

Which CIENCE alternatives bill per meeting?

FunnL ($300 per completed meeting on top of a $2,000 retainer), Belkins' pay-per-appointment plan ("starting from $750/meeting") and us ($200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, after setup). CIENCE itself pays its SDRs a bonus on held meetings, but the base fee does not depend on them.

Is SalesHive or CIENCE better?

SalesHive bundles everything into one quoted fee with no setup; CIENCE prints a rate card with a fixed team and platform layer plus seats. If you value a published price, CIENCE; if you want one number and calling-led SDRs, SalesHive.

Before you sign with anyone

Get three things in writing, from CIENCE, from us, or from anyone else:

  1. The qualification definition. Titles, company size, and what makes a meeting count as held.
  2. No-show terms. Replaced, credited, or charged.
  3. What you pay in a zero-meeting month. With CIENCE, the setup fee too, since the page does not price it.

A qualified meeting is defined at what counts as a qualified meeting. Put every quote through the cost per meeting calculator.
