The best B2B lead generation agencies for payments and treasury firms, compared on published prices as of October 2026, by buyer: banks, finance teams, merchants.

Short answer: As of October 2026, two agencies publish material aimed at payments companies.

If you sell B2B payments or treasury tools to finance teams, judge any agency on how well it reaches the CFO and treasurer. ROI Maximizer charges $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, after a $1,000–$3,000 setup. We have not run a payments campaign yet.

How this page was made. I'm Moe Alhosni and I run ROI Maximizer, which is one of the agencies on this list. I took every competitor figure from the firm's own website on 31 October 2026 and linked each one. Where a firm doesn't publish something, I say so. I sold treasury management to finance teams as Sales Director at Coinshift. Before that, I sold to banks at Moody's.

This page is B2B only. It covers agencies that book meetings for payments companies selling to merchants that are companies, to banks and acquirers, and to corporate finance teams. It doesn't cover low-ticket merchant acquiring aimed at sole traders, or consumer payments.

Choose by who you sell to

"Payments" covers at least three markets, and each one needs a different agency brief.

Payments infrastructure, fraud or reconciliation toolsPayment companies, acquirers, banksHead of payments, COO, CTO, head of risk
B2B payments, treasury or FX productsFinance teams at mid-size and large companiesCFO, treasurer, head of finance operations

Selling to banks and acquirers

This works like any bank sale. There is a committee, a vendor review and a long gap between interest and signature. Choose the agency with the strictest written definition of a qualified meeting. The bank side is covered in the best lead generation agency for banks.

Selling to corporate finance teams

At Coinshift I learned that the CFO cares about control and audit trail first, and cost second. The treasurer cares about how a product fits the bank accounts already in place. The first reply often comes from finance operations, and that person needs something to show the CFO. Ask each agency how its copy and follow-up give that person something to forward.

Selling acceptance to merchants

The list is long, and calling works well for mid-size merchants. In the UK, sole traders and some partnerships count as individuals under PECR. The ICO says "Sole traders and some partnerships are treated as individuals", so emailing them needs consent or the soft opt-in under PECR regulation 22. In the US, CAN-SPAM "makes no exception for business-to-business email". This is general information, not legal advice; check with your compliance team or counsel.

Pricing, on the same basis

Ask one question of every quote: what do I pay in a month that books nothing?

Belkins also says on its comparison blog that it offers a "pay-per-appointment plan starting from $750/meeting". Ask whether that plan is open to payments firms. The cost per meeting calculator turns any quote into a price per meeting.

Questions to send every agency on your shortlist

  1. Have you booked meetings with payments buyers in the last 12 months? With which titles, and at what company sizes?
  2. How do you clean UK merchant lists for sole traders and partnerships?
  3. What is your written definition of a qualified meeting?
  4. What do I pay in a month with no meetings?
  5. How quickly do you hand over a positive reply? It should be the same day.

Terms such as acquirer, ICP and soft opt-in are defined in the finance outbound glossary. All our finance pages are in financial services.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best lead generation agency for payments companies?

As of October 2026, Belkins and Callbox publish the most payments-specific material. Belkins lists payments and embedded finance on its fintech page. Callbox has a fintech case study aimed at heads of payments. If you want to pay only for held meetings, look at a per-meeting agency, and ask for its definition of a meeting first.

How much does payments lead generation cost?

Published starting points as of October 2026: Belkins from $5,000 a month, Callbox about $6,667 a month per pod, SalesRoads $11,950 per four weeks for one SDR. We charge $200–$500 per qualified meeting that took place, after a $1,000–$3,000 setup.

Does cold email work for selling B2B payments?

It works best for products sold to finance teams and payment companies, where the buyer reads email and the deal is big enough to justify a meeting. For low-ticket merchant acquiring, calling usually works better, and consent rules limit email to sole traders.

Before you sign with anyone

Get three things in writing before you pay any agency, including this one.

  1. The qualification definition. It should cover titles, company size or payment volume, a live problem, and the words "held, not booked". The general version is in what counts as a qualified meeting.
  2. No-show terms. The answer should be "not charged".
  3. What a zero-meeting month costs. On a retainer you pay anyway. On pay per meeting you pay nothing, and the contract should say so.
